Parsonage Spared Major Damage

Several large oak trees came down during Hurricane Sandy but did not hit Zion's parsonage.  Thanks to the Melicks for cleaning up the fallen trees.

The three volumes of Zion history are available through the church office.  Each volume is $12.75 and all are sold separately.

■The Faithful and the Bold by Norman Wittwer and Children of Salvation by Karen and Hal Murray.  The latter includes a history compiled by Charles O. Thompson “225 Years: A History of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oldwick, New Jersey” and “Zion, The Last Fifty Years (1939 – 1989)” by the Murrays.
