People have been asking about our Discipleship group. What is this group that meets monthly? Some have suggested that it is an evangelism
meeting. Some have suggested that it
requires a commitment to be there every month.
The monthly Discipleship meeting is not so intimidating. We meet to talk about and explore our faith. This fall, the meeting will be different
because we will be holding Vespers on Thursday nights, which is our usual night
for Discipleship. So, we will gather for
a Soup Supper at 6:00 and this meal will be followed by Vespers at 7:00. On the fourth Thursday of each month, at 7:30
p.m., an open discussion will be held around a variety of faith topics. In the past, we have explored the life of
Jesus, other religions, our Lutheran heritage, and our own faith moments/struggles. The conversation is always informal,
inviting, and meaningful. Everyone is
invited to come. We always enjoy new
people. You do not have to commit to the
whole year. You can drop in any time and
find a warm welcome, delicious food, and great discussion. We hope to see you the next time we meet,
