Our second Town-Wide Tag Sale was an even bigger success than the first! Over $2500 was raised for the food pantries in Clinton and Flemington. It was a great day for community-building with 18 families participating around the village of Oldwick and 12 vendors at the flea market in the CEB parking lot. Each participant donated $25 that contributed to our grand total.
Thanks to members and non-members who donated unwanted items that were sorted, priced and moved out onto the lawn for sale Saturday morning. This is a great way to promote recycling rather than having items end up in the landfill or remaining a cluttering nuisance. A huge thank you to all of the volunteers that helped with the tremendous effort in the week prior processing our donations and the monumental task of moving and setting up truck load after truck load of our treasures. Looking forward to next year!
